Founded in the early 1990s by Sudhin Sarkar—an IT specialist with a lifelong desire to build a business—Internet Kitchen Store began as a small family-run shop in Markville Mall. Over the next 14 years, the store grew steadily before relocating to Toronto’s Yonge & Eglinton neighbourhood, where the family opened a more intimate retail space and expanded their focus into e-commerce. Today, still proudly family-operated, Internet Kitchen Store continues to thrive by offering top-quality kitchen products, with a particular emphasis on high-end cookware and knives.
